We have another remastered game collection coming to the PS3 and this time it’s the beloved Tomb Raider franchise.  We’ve already seen the God of War collection grace the PS3 and hopefully we’ll still get a chance to see the Ico Collection and Metal Gear Collection.  For all of you people who’ve already played these games and don’t think they are worth the price of admission, let me explain to you why I am a huge supporter of the remastering movement for a few reasons.

1.) I never owned a PS2, so I get to play the greats of the system with remastered visuals.

2.) It’s in a cheaper overall collection (I.E. the three pack is available for $40 right now at Amazon.)

3.) They add trophies/achievements to games that didn’t feature them originally.

Those are three VERY solid reasons for you to honestly consider picking up this pack.  We’ve also got some comparison screen shots below and it’s very easy to see the up-sampled anti-aliased material against the original.  Full list of pics is available in the gallery at the bottom of the page.
