Hey, folks! In just a few days the whole BrainLazy staff will be neck deep in video game madness as we attend the third annual PAX East convention. In order for you to get tasted up for all of the juicy, juicy coverage we’ll be providing, I’m going to share with you a fresh dose of pirate RPG magic, courtesy of Deep Silver and Risen 2. The more we see of this game, the more ravenously we anticipate its release. Seriously, do you know how long it as been since my swash has been properly buckled? Too long! Check out these screens!

Hello, little... friend?

And if that isn’t enough for you, we’ve got not one, not two, but FOUR videos for you to check out.  They feature gratuitous use of language, gratuitous use of voodoo, and gratuitous use of an awesome nickname (Steelbeard). I urge you to watch and absorb the greatness, but only if you are of an appropriate age to absorb that much gratuitousness.

Pirate’s Den

Pirate’s Oath

Learning Voodoo

Using Voodoo

That’s all for now, everybody. As always, you can learn more at http://www.risen2.com.

About Decoychunk

Editor, Writer, and general Knower-Of-Words, if there is text to be read on BrainLazy, Joseph Lallo probably has his fingerprints on it. As the final third of the ownership and foundation of BrainLazy, Joseph “Jo” Lallo made a name for himself when he lost the “e” from his nickname in an arm wrestling match with a witch doctor. Residing in the arid lowlands of the American Southwest, Joseph Lallo is a small, herbivorous, rabbit-like creature with the horns of an antelope. He sleeps belly up, and his milk can be used for medicinal purposes. Joseph Lallo is also author of several books, including The Book of Deacon Series, book 1 of which is available for free here.
