When I’m not working my way through a game, ranting incoherently, or doing any of my several other jobs, I tend to write. In the past it has been mostly fantasy based, because if I was interested in dealing with the REAL world I would just go outside. At the request of fellow BrainLazer Oriech, I decided to try to stretch my horizons a bit and dip into science fiction. The result of that attempt has now reached the market.

Behold, in all of its home made glory!

It is called Bypass Gemini, and it follows the rather unfortunate adventures of a disgraced race pilot turned delivery boy, Trevor “Lex” Alexander. I can’t talk too much about the plot without giving it away, but I can tell you that it involves space ships, mobsters, a mad scientist, Mega-Corporations, caffeinated meat, and at least two different kinds of very large lasers. If these things sound like they are up your alley, head on down to Smashwords or Amazon to pick up a copy for your eReader of choice. If you are a dedicated Barnes and Noble user, or perhaps Apple or some other ebook provider, then you’ll have to wait a few weeks, but you’ll get your chance. If you are the sort who simply must do your reading in dead tree format, I’m afraid I can’t help you. (Unless there is suddenly a skyrocketing demand for that sort of thing. Then I’ll see what I can do.) Do me a favor and take a look. Smashwords lets you sample a fairly substantial chunk, so you ought to get an idea if it is worth your time. If you DO read it, be sure to speak up. Let people know what you think… Unless you hate it. In that case, quietly whisper in my ear what was wrong with it, and I’ll weep silently for a few hours, then try to fix it.

About Decoychunk

Editor, Writer, and general Knower-Of-Words, if there is text to be read on BrainLazy, Joseph Lallo probably has his fingerprints on it. As the final third of the ownership and foundation of BrainLazy, Joseph “Jo” Lallo made a name for himself when he lost the “e” from his nickname in an arm wrestling match with a witch doctor. Residing in the arid lowlands of the American Southwest, Joseph Lallo is a small, herbivorous, rabbit-like creature with the horns of an antelope. He sleeps belly up, and his milk can be used for medicinal purposes. Joseph Lallo is also author of several books, including The Book of Deacon Series, book 1 of which is available for free here.
