We met a lot of interesting people at PAX East, and we’re busy trying to come up with equally interesting questions to ask them. However, as is so often the case in the video game world, there are a few things that are time critical, so we decided to do a little bit of a mini-preview for our friends over at Muse Games. If you’re not familiar with them, they are the minds behind Guns of Icarus Online, the absolute best airship to airship multiplayer online combat simulator you can play. With the rise of steampunk, the concept of manning the guns of a Zeppelin and firing at other Zeppelins while wearing fancy brass goggles has never been more appealing, and Guns of Icarus Online has cornered the market. Now, we’ll be back with in-depth coverage before too long, but to whet your appetite, here’s a video:

Look like something you want to get in on? Well until Friday the game is on sale for 75% off! Not only that, but they have got a kickstarter running RIGHT NOW to raise money to introduce an adventure mode, which will feature a persistent world complete with towns, political intrigue, an economy, the works! Go on and pledge some cash, people. The world needs more experienced blimp-gunners and you know it.

About Decoychunk

Editor, Writer, and general Knower-Of-Words, if there is text to be read on BrainLazy, Joseph Lallo probably has his fingerprints on it. As the final third of the ownership and foundation of BrainLazy, Joseph “Jo” Lallo made a name for himself when he lost the “e” from his nickname in an arm wrestling match with a witch doctor. Residing in the arid lowlands of the American Southwest, Joseph Lallo is a small, herbivorous, rabbit-like creature with the horns of an antelope. He sleeps belly up, and his milk can be used for medicinal purposes. Joseph Lallo is also author of several books, including The Book of Deacon Series, book 1 of which is available for free here.
